The lid covers the entire depth of the base, so the outer walls read as one continuous surface. This is the classic fragrance gift-set look: maximum print area across lid and base, the heaviest board feel, and the strongest anti-crush protection for the bottle.

• Best for: flagship 50ml and 100ml fragrance sets, gift coffrets and holiday editions
• Board: 1200–1800gsm grey board + 157gsm coated paper wrap
• Lid reveal: deep lid, typically covering most or all of the base depth

2. Partial Telescope Box with Bottle

The lid covers only the upper section of the base, leaving a visible band of base wrap. It gives a lighter, more contemporary silhouette and lets you show a colour split or contrasting material between lid and base – useful when the brand colour needs to appear on two surfaces.

• Best for: 30ml and 50ml retail sets, sampler trios and e-commerce-ready packs
• Board: 1200–1500gsm grey board
• Lid reveal: shallow lid, typically covering the upper part of the base only

3. Shoulder & Neck Rigid Box with Bottle

A shoulder box has a stepped shoulder built inside the lid, so the lid drops onto a neck and closes on a hard stop. The neck box (also called a shoulder-and-neck or collared box) gives a precise, engineered close and hides the insert edge inside the collar for a very clean shoulder line around the bottle.

• Best for: ultra-premium launches, 100ml flagship bottles and multi-piece coffrets
• Board: 1500–1800gsm grey board
• Lid reveal: engineered hard-stop close with a visible collar
